If the HBS training program and research topics have gained your interest, we welcome your application to our school.

If you apply for the PhD program of the UKE or one of the other faculties involved in the HBS, you should have or expect a master in neuroscience, psychology, biology, computer science, physics or related disciplines. Application for the UKE medical doctorate or the MD/PhD program presupposes enrollment as a medical student or completion of the medical state exam, respectively.

If you apply as a junior postdoc, your research should be within the fields covered by the HCNS. Your application presupposes that you hold a postdoctoral position at a department or group within the HCNS.

The HBS is committed to diversity and seeks applications from qualified individuals regardless of their demographic status, gender, or cultural background. Applications from severely disabled persons with equivalent qualifications will be given preference.
